16 Apr What’s the Tiger in you?
Tiger Woods is one of the most successful golfers the world has ever seen, he became the youngest-ever winner of the Masters in 1997, at the age of 21. Subsequently spending over 680 weeks as the world’s No 1 golfer.
In the last 10 years, Tiger has battled a public marriage breakdown, sex, drug and alcohol addictions, back surgery and injuries. He has been arrested for driving under the influence and dropped by numerous blue-chip sponsors.
Most people would have thought that was the last we would see of the champion golfer, slipping into an early retirement and blaming his injuries… but all was not lost for Tiger.
The greatest comeback in sporting history
Yesterday (14th April 2019), we saw one of the greatest comebacks in sporting history. At the age of 43, after waiting 3954 days, Tiger Woods won his fifth Masters title.
This poses some questions… How much more have you got left in you? What is the Tiger in you? Pain is temporary in our lives but regret is permanent. When you’re sitting by the fire in your twilight years, there will be nothing worse than going through the “should haves” and “could haves” yet knowing that you didn’t.
Get up, into action and raise your game NOW.
Take a pen and paper and write down all the things you’re grateful for, all the things you’re excited about and all the things you’re proud of. This is a great place for you to start to be able to live a more positive and can-do lifestyle.
Love the day!
